I load most of my addons on all of my characters, but there are a select few (like my healing ones, which I only load on my healers) that I want to specify certain characters. The other function this screen has is the ability to select which characters loads which addons. Note that this function sometimes leads to errors. If there is a particular addon you enjoy playing with that is no longer updated by the creator, this button will allow you to play the game with it. When major patches hit, most addon developers will have their addons up to date following day or two, enabling you to uncheck this button. After major patches, most of your addons will be “broken” and if you want to run them, you need to select this button. By doing this, you are allowing the game to run addons even if the game has advance past the point of their functionality. The first is a button to enable out-of-date addons. ![]() Click that button and it will bring up the addon screen. When you log on, before selecting your character, there will be a red button in the lower left corner of the screen that says “Addons”.
